The small town of Búger, with 1.016 inhabitants and an extension of 793 hectares, be situated in the centre of the island, at just 38.8Km of Palma de Mallorca.
Buger is very famous for its windmills, some of them in very good conditions. There be in the Puig, just on the back of the Saint Pere church and its historic organ. |

You can find too the wood carving of Sant Pere (Saint Peter) patron of the city. "Es Pujol" is a residential area with nice views; from the top you have a wonderful view of all the north of the island.
The local market is all Saturdays mornings on the main street (Carrer Mayor). There you can find the typical decoration glass bells. You can find too “picarols” (cowbell) or “culleres de fusta” (Wood spoons), handmade, typical of the town.
The annual local festival be on the 29th June, Sant Pere (Saint Peter), and "Es Jai" the first Sunday of May. |
